REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY – EASEAIRFARE

EaseAirfare.com operates as an online travel booking intermediary. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations, changes, refunds, and related requests are handled for bookings made through the EaseAirfare platform.

This Policy must be read together with:

By completing a booking on EaseAirfare.com, you acknowledge and agree to this Policy.

1. ROLE OF EASEAIRFARE (IMPORTANT)

EaseAirfare does not operate airlines and does not control airline refund decisions.
All refunds, cancellations, changes, and no-show outcomes are governed primarily by:

  • Airline fare rules
  • Airline Contract of Carriage
  • Applicable government regulations

EaseAirfare’s role is limited to facilitating requests and coordinating with airlines or service providers.

2. TICKET TYPES & REFUND ELIGIBILITY

2.1 Refundable Tickets

  • Eligible for refund as per airline rules.
  • Airline cancellation penalties, fare differences, and EaseAirfare service fees may apply.
  • The refund amount is determined by the airline after deductions.

2.2 Non-Refundable Tickets

  • Most promotional, discounted, Basic, Saver, or Lite fares are non-refundable.
  • In such cases:
    • Only refundable government taxes (if permitted by the airline) may be returned.
    • EaseAirfare service fees are non-refundable.

2.3 Partially Used Tickets 

  • Refund eligibility depends on airline fare rules.
  • Airlines may deny refunds or significantly reduce the refundable amount.

3. CUSTOMER-INITIATED CANCELLATIONS

3.1 How to Cancel

  • Cancellations must be requested through:
    • EaseAirfare customer support, or
    • The airline (where applicable).

3.2 Cancellation Charges

The following may apply:

  • Airline cancellation penalty
  • Fare difference (if reissued)
  • EaseAirfare service or processing fees
  • Non-refundable taxes or surcharges

3.3 Timing Matters 

  • Cancellations requested after departure are usually treated as no-shows.
  • Some tickets cannot be cancelled once issued.

4. NO-SHOW POLICY

A No-Show occurs when a passenger:

  • Fails to check in on time
  • Fails to board the flight
  • Misses departure without cancelling in advance

Consequences:

  • Tickets are typically fully forfeited
  • Refunds are usually not permitted
  • Airlines may cancel remaining or return segments automatically

EaseAirfare has no authority to reverse no-show decisions

5. FLIGHT CHANGES & REISSUES

  • Changes are subject to airline fare rules.
  • Additional costs may include:
    • Airline change fee
    • Fare difference
    • EaseAirfare service fee
  • Many discounted fares do not allow changes under any circumstances.

6. AIRLINE-INITIATED CANCELLATIONS OR SCHEDULE CHANGES

If an airline:

  • Cancels a flight
  • Makes a significant schedule change
  • Changes the routing or aircraft

Then:

  • The airline determines refund, rebooking, or credit eligibility.
  • EaseAirfare may assist with coordination only.
  • Compensation (if any) is governed by airline policy and applicable law.

EaseAirfare is not responsible for airline operational decisions

7. REFUND PROCESSING TIMELINES

Refunds are processed only after airline authorisation.

Typical timelines:

  • Credit/Debit Cards: 7–21 business days
  • Wallets / Bank Transfers / Crypto: As per payment provider timelines

EaseAirfare is not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Airlines
  • Banks
  • Payment gateways
  • Blockchain confirmations (for crypto payments)

8. SERVICE FEES (VERY IMPORTANT)

  • EaseAirfare service, booking, and convenience fees are non-refundable, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
  • This applies even if the airline fare itself is refundable.

9. TAXES & ANCILLARY SERVICES

9.1 Taxes

  • Refund of government taxes depends on airline rules.
  • Some taxes are non-refundable once collected.

9.2 Ancillary Services

Add-ons such as:

  • Seat selection
  • Baggage
  • Meals
  • Priority boarding
  • Insurance

Are generally:

  • Non-refundable
  • Governed by airline or third-party provider terms

10. CRYPTOCURRENCY PAYMENTS (SPECIAL RULES)

If payment was made using cryptocurrency:

  • Transactions are irreversible
  • Refunds (if approved) may be issued:
    • In cryptocurrency, or
    • In U.S. Dollars, at EaseAirfare’s discretion
  • Exchange rate differences, gas fees, and processor fees are non-refundable
  • Refund value may differ due to market volatility

11. INCORRECT PASSENGER DETAILS

Tickets issued with:

  • Incorrect names
  • Wrong dates
  • Incorrect routes

Maybe:

  • Non-refundable
  • Treated as cancellation and reissue

Passengers are responsible for verifying details before payment.

12. SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES & WAIVERS

Refunds due to:

  • Medical emergencies
  • Natural disasters
  • Government restrictions
  • Airline strikes

Are subject to:

  • Airline discretion
  • Documentation requirements
  • Applicable laws

EaseAirfare does not guarantee waivers.

13. CHARGEBACKS & DISPUTES

  • Customers should contact EaseAirfare before initiating chargebacks.
  • Unauthorised or fraudulent chargebacks may result in:
    • Account restriction
    • Booking suspension
    • Legal action where applicable

14. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by Texas and U.S. law:

  • EaseAirfare is not liable for airline refund decisions.
  • EaseAirfare is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses.
  • Maximum liability (if any) is limited to EaseAirfare service fees charged for the booking.

15. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION

This Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Texas courts.
